A third year in B Section, and for the first time Old Trinity entered an U19 team in the VAFA U19s, in Section 3.
After nine rounds the Firsts were 6th with 4 wins. The Reserves were 8th with just two wins. The First finished the season in 6th position on 8 wins and 10 losses, and the Reserves were again a disappointing 10th with only two wins.
Creditably, in their first year the U19s reached the half-way mark 2nd with 7 wins & 2 losses. At the end of the season, they were top of the ladder with a 15-3 record. A remarkable effort.

And then they went on to win the premiership – a fairytale in their first year!
