Our History in Brief
Our History Year by Year
An earlier (2013) brief history by Ian Jervis
The dedication of people like Tony Dart, Roberts Moore, Ian Jervis, Alan Burrows and Stuart Cade over the years has preserved much of our history. The OTGAFC History Project in 2026 led by Roberts Moore (1965-75) has rescued much of the Club’s lost history and collated the above pages and the Honour Boards. Particular thanks go to Peter Beer (1978-90) and Andrew Birrell (1976-83) for their wholehearted contributions to the History Project.
Inevitably we will have got some things wrong and there remain missing pieces. So, we ask for your help. Where there are errors, please let us know. Where there are gaps, please help us fill them. Where you can provide a picture, send it to us. Where you can share a story, tell us. We’ll do our best to add your experiences to our shared history.
