Having served for three years, Stuart Stockdale retired as president and was succeeded by Paul Bunting.
Back up to C Section. Could we keep up the momentum?
Dave O’Shaughnessy, Trevor Norman & Andrew Allibon were selected in the VAFA CDEF state team. Dave O’Shaughnessy topped the C Section goal kicking with 85.
The Club’s upward surge continued - after nine games the Firsts topped the ladder with 6 wins and 3 losses. The Reserves were struggling at 8th with 3-6. The Firsts won their last eight matches and finished the season in 2nd place with 14 wins and 4 losses. The Reserves were 9th with only 4 wins and 14 losses.
The Firsts had a thumping win in the second semi-final, the victory securing promotion to B Section.

But we were to be disappointed in the grand final.
