Sadly, after being relegated in 1979, we were now in C Section.
But, alas, after both the Firsts and Reserves were positioned 7th after 8 games with 2 wins and 6 losses, the Club’s slide continued with the Firsts finishing last – winning 4 and losing 14. The Reserves were second last, also with 4-14.
That meant another drop, to D Section, and things were just as bad off the field, as on it.
